Sam was adopted as a Farther's Day gift with a family of 5. Sam provides constant companionship and comfort to the wife as the husband travels extensively for his job. Surprise benefit - the wife has lost 25 pounds since adopting Sam because she walks more since she feels much more secure with Sam by her side.
