What to expect after my dog's adventures?

Why is my dog tired when he/she comes home?

This is one of the great benefits of going on an adventure! Your dog gets to play all day so, naturally, they are tired at the end of the day.  Often, when you take your dog home, they will quickly go to sleep.  There are plenty of places for your dog to take a nap in the adventure areas and if your dog becomes overly tired during the day, we will take them to a suite for a nap.  Dogs sleeping/rest needs vary so we do not force a dog to get up from a nap if they are still sleeping.

Why is my dog thirsty when he/she comes home?

We have an automatic watering system to ensure your dog has fresh, chemical-free water available at all times.  Just like any adventure, game playing or sporting event, it requires a lot of energy and strenuous effort to have such great fun.  It also creates a great thirst.  Even though water is available 24 hours/day, once you return home, your dog may be thirsty again.  It is recommended that you give him water when you return home to ensure he is fully rehydrated from his grand adventure!

My dog's paws are very sensitive after his adventure.  Did something happen to my dog's feet?

No.  Because of the running and playing, it is very common for your dog's pads will be sore after his adventures.  Most dogs are not used to playing all day, especially in natural, wooded environments.  It is only temporary and they will build stronger/tougher pads as they play more often.
